AI agent
Let Aetherium read, click and type on pages for you.
The agent works on the page in front of you: it reads it, clicks, types, picks from lists, scrolls and opens pages, step by step, while you watch. Ask in plain words, for example:
- “Find the cheapest option on this page.”
- “Search for flights from Cebu to Manila next Friday.”
- “Fill in this form with my company details: …”
Open the agent
- Click the magic wand in the toolbar, or press Ctrl+Shift+A (press it again to close).
- Or type into Ask the agent to do something for you on a new tab.
The Aetherium Agent panel opens on the right of the window.
Choose how it runs (first time only)
The first time, the panel shows its settings. Under Run the agent with pick one:

| Ollama / other AI | A local AI with Ollama or LM Studio (free, runs on your computer), or a key for OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek or any OpenAI-compatible service. Choose the Service, press Load models, pick a Model, then Test connection and Save. |
Press Done. You can come back any time with the gear button (Agent settings) in the panel.

- Open the page you want it to work on.
- Type your request in Tell the agent what to do on this page... and press Enter (Shift+Enter for a new line).
- Watch the steps it reports: Reading the page, Clicking…, Typing…, Opening…
- To stop it, press the send button, which turns into Stop while it works.
It stops by itself after 50 steps; send another message to let it carry on. Use New conversation to start fresh.
Staying safe
- The agent is told to ask you in the chat before it spends money, sends a message, posts, deletes anything, or submits personal, login or payment details. Still, watch what it does and press Stop if it goes the wrong way.
- It fills saved logins straight into the page without seeing the password. If your password manager is locked, you are asked to unlock it.
- It stops at sign-ins and CAPTCHAs and hands them to you.
- Private mode (the shield button) makes it use only a local AI, and keeps connected apps from using the browser.
Skills: teach it a task once
- In the agent panel click Skills, then Record a new skill.
- Do the task yourself in the browser, then press Stop in the red bar.
- Give it a Name and press Save skill. Run it later with Run.
Page watchers
Use Page watchers › Watch this page to be told when a page or a part of it (Pick a part of the page) changes, when some text appears or disappears, or when a price goes below or above an amount. Main profile only.
Let VS Code, Claude Code or Cursor use the browser
In Agent settings under Connect VS Code and other apps:
- Add to VS Code: then open Copilot Chat in Agent mode; the Aetherium tools are listed under Tools.
- Add to Claude Code: new Claude Code sessions can use this browser.
- Copy for Cursor, Cline... for other apps.
While a connected app is using the browser, the wand button lights up.
