Bookmarks, history & downloads

Save pages, find them again and manage downloads.

Bookmarks

  1. On a page you want to keep, press Ctrl+D , or click the star (Add bookmark) in the address bar.
  2. Add tags if you like; Aetherium organises bookmarks by tags instead of folders.

To find them again press Ctrl+Shift+B , choose ⋮ › Bookmarks, or just start typing in the address bar; bookmarks show up in the suggestions. Filter by tag, or use Similar items.

Tip
Import bookmarks from another browser with ⋮ › Import from another browser..., or from an HTML file with !importbookmarks. Export them with !exportbookmarks.

History

Press Ctrl+Shift+H or choose ⋮ › History, then type to search the pages you visited. Private tabs are never added to history.

To delete history, use Clear browsing data (Ctrl+Shift+Delete ) and pick a time range.

Downloads

Downloads appear in a bar at the bottom of the window with the file name, size and progress.

  • Click a finished download to open it.
  • Use the folder button to show the file in its folder.
  • Open the small arrow menu next to a running download to Cancel it.
  • Close the bar with its ×.

Save or print a page

Ctrl+S saves the page and Ctrl+P prints it. Both are also in ⋮ › File.
